EURO 2012 Results. UEFA and the Ministry of Internal Affairs showed appreciation to TOPGUARD

TOPGUARD, the International Ukrainian Security Company, has summed up 2012 results, as well as the most significant sports event in the history of independent Ukraine – Euro 2012.

"Euro 2012 has become the largest event and organized sports event in Ukraine for all years of independence” – Markiyan Lubkivskiy said, UEFA Euro 2012 Director in Ukraine. – There were excellent results in the security level. New standards have been introduced that Ukraine will apply in the future. We managed to achieve the best results, – says Lubkivskiy. The European Championship organizers called the championship fantastic. Everyone appreciated its success – fans, football players, journalists.

In February 2012, TOPGUARD Security Company was awarded a tender for security services during the Euro 2012 Final in Ukraine. Our guards have shown the highest level of work during Euro 2012 Final in Ukraine at all four stadiums: Kiev, Donetsk, Lvov and Kharkov. Mobile survey respondents during UEFA Euro 2012 matches in all Ukrainian stadiums noted that they felt safe in all four stadiums.

EURO 2012 Security

The organizers put forward special requirements to potential partners in security services and public order in accordance with the international standards for such events: extensive experience in the field of security, references from the European companies, English-speaking guards, their physical training and much more.

In addition, a special uniform for security guards was developed, training exercises were conducted, TOPGUARD security company practical actions were worked out together with the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Security Service of Ukraine, which ultimately paid off in full.

It is far from saying that it was easy. However, TOPGUARD guards have coped with the task with enthusiasm. Discipline and competence – these are the qualities distinguishing for our company from among other security services operators in Ukraine.

Championship organizers expressed hope for further fruitful cooperation with our company. A letter of acknowledgement from the German partners in organizing Euro 2012 in Ukraine for cooperation and excellent European project is a clear confirmation of our company recognition in the international arena.

The State Security Service of Ukraine has shown appreciation and awarded TOPGUARD with a diploma for its significant contribution to ensuring the protection of public order and safety during the Euro 2012 Final. The SBU leadership also expressed official gratitude to the TOPGUARD team and noted that the company, based on its professionalism, integrated successfully in ensuring nationwide project security.

In turn, we would like to express our gratitude to the leadership of the Security Service of Ukraine and the Ministry of Internal Affairs for their cooperation and mutual understanding. It is pleasant to know that due to the common efforts we all achieved challenging goal. It was nice to see that often-competing power structures of our country worked together for a common result.
