TopGuard at Euro 2012 – Security That Made History
UEFA Euro 2012 became a landmark event not only for the football world, but for Ukraine as a whole. For the first time in history, our country hosted the European Football Championship together with Poland. It was a unique moment when millions of eyes from around the world were focused on Ukraine — a country that opened itself to the world through sport, hospitality, culture, and high organizational standards.
Five Ukrainian cities became venues for this international event, uniting fans, athletes, journalists, and political leaders. More than 1.4 million spectators filled the stands, while millions more watched worldwide. The final took place in the heart of the country, at the legendary NSC Olimpiyskiy Stadium in Kyiv. Euro 2012 became more than a football tournament — it became a symbol of a new, open Ukraine.
At this historic moment, TopGuard had the honor of being part of an event of such magnitude. We did not simply provide security — we were responsible for calm, stability, and order in places where every minute mattered. Our team operated at key locations — hotels, stadiums, press centers, and official zones hosting delegations, VIP guests, players, officials, international journalists, and UEFA representatives.
More than 1,000 professional TopGuard security officers worked in close coordination with the National Police of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine, and international partners, demonstrating precision, efficiency, and absolute reliability. We operated with zero margin for error, fully aware of our responsibility to the country and the world.
