TopGuard Secured Independence Day Concert in Ukraine

The television recording of the concert took place on August 21 on the territory of the military hospital located in the Kyiv Fortress “Kosyi Kaponir.” The first viewers were ATO soldiers, volunteers, and medical staff. In order for everything to proceed calmly and safely, professional security services were invited to protect the event.
The organizers deliberately turned to TopGuard specialists. Our company has extensive long-term experience in securing mass events and an impeccable track record of completed projects.
Symbolically, exactly 24 artists were invited to perform in honor of the country’s 24th anniversary. Among them were Tina Karol, Nina Matvienko, Nataliya Mogilevskaya, Oleksandr Ponomaryov, Druha Rika, Vopli Vidopliasova, TNMK, TIK, Braty Hadiukiny, as well as winners of the vocal competitions “The Voice. Kids” and “The Voice of the Country.”
Between performances, viewers were shown video stories about outstanding Ukrainians — both well-known heroes and ordinary people. Host Yuriy Horbunov reminded the audience why Ukraine is a great country. For example, it is the largest country in Europe by territory and contains more than a quarter of the world’s chernozem soil reserves.
Ukraine is also among the global leaders in honey, barley, and sugar beet production. The legendary Ukrainian “Mriya” aircraft was also mentioned — the world’s heaviest cargo airplane, which has set more than 250 world records.

During the recording, the artists shared what Ukraine’s independence means to them. “For me personally, it is not just a holiday, but an understanding that we have a real chance to become a truly independent country that deserves a better life, because the freest people in the world live here,” said Valeriy Kharchyshyn, leader of the band Druha Rika.
He was supported by Fagot, the leader of TNMK: “Independence is our genetic code, which is why we are invincible and ‘good will overcome evil.’ It only hurts that this victory comes at the cost of health and lives.”
In turn, Oleh Skrypka, frontman of Vopli Vidopliasova, emphasized that Ukraine’s independence is no longer just a matter of state sovereignty. “Independence for Ukraine is a matter of existence itself — a very acute question. And for many Ukrainians the answer has become clear and unequivocal: we must exist, and we must fight to the end,” the artist stated.
Yuriy Horbunov also admitted that on this day he celebrates not only the country’s birthday, but his own as well. “I think that after the war ends — and I believe it will happen soon — we will celebrate the end of the war, Independence Day, and my birthday all at once,” the host joked.
