2,000,000 UAH Donated to the Legendary 95th Airborne Brigade in 12 Hours!
DOU is the largest developer community in Ukraine, which organized its first major IT conference and raised UAH 2,000,000 during the event to support the needs of the legendary 95th Air Assault Brigade.
“DOU Day” was created to demonstrate how Ukrainian IT can continue to grow and develop here, in Ukraine, even during such challenging times:
- to show the world that war does not stop the development of Ukrainian IT — we continue to deliver top-level services with outstanding talent
- to provide a platform for the IT community for growth and development, networking, education, and recreation
- to connect Ukrainian IT professionals with Ukrainian IT companies and other businesses
The forum also showcased cutting-edge military technology developments, presented with the participation of leading IT companies.
Visitor safety was set as a top priority by the organizers. A three-level access control and attendee identification system was implemented, while maintaining a максимально friendly and welcoming environment for all participants. Mandatory entrance screening was conducted using stationary gate detectors and portable metal detectors. A “Dobrobut” emergency medical team was engaged for on-site standby support. The event operated at maximum capacity, hosting over 1,500 participants.
The event was highly dynamic and fully utilized all areas of the exhibition complex. The highlight of the evening was a live performance by the band “TNMK”, which perfectly concluded the day.
