EURO 2012 Results: UEFA and Ministry of Internal Affairs Thank TopGuard

In February 2012, the TopGuard security company won the tender to provide security services during the final stage of EURO 2012 in Ukraine. Our security personnel performed at the highest professional level throughout the final stage of EURO 2012 at all four stadiums: in Kyiv, Donetsk, Lviv, and Kharkiv. Respondents of mobile surveys conducted during UEFA EURO 2012 matches at Ukrainian stadiums noted that they felt safe at all four venues.

The organizers set special requirements for potential security partners in accordance with international standards for events of this scale: extensive experience in the security sector, recommendations from European companies, English language proficiency among security personnel, an in-house sports training base, and many other criteria.
In addition, special uniforms were developed for security staff, training sessions were conducted, and practical response actions were rehearsed jointly by TopGuard, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the Security Service of Ukraine, all of which fully justified themselves.
It was certainly not easy, but TopGuard security officers successfully completed the task with excellence. Discipline and professionalism are the qualities that have always favorably distinguished our company from other operators in the Ukrainian security services market.
The tournament organizers expressed their hope for further fruitful cooperation with our company. A letter of appreciation from German partners involved in organizing EURO 2012 in Ukraine for the jointly implemented work and the excellently executed European project serves as clear confirmation of our company’s international recognition.
The State Security Service of Ukraine expressed gratitude and awarded TopGuard with an honorary diploma for its significant contribution to maintaining public order and safety during the final stage of EURO 2012. The leadership of the Security Service of Ukraine also officially thanked the TopGuard team, noting that thanks to the company’s professionalism, it successfully integrated into the security framework of a nationwide project.
In turn, we would like to thank the leadership of the Security Service of Ukraine and the Ministry of Internal Affairs for their cooperation and mutual understanding. It was gratifying to see how, through joint efforts, we achieved our objectives, often under challenging conditions. It is encouraging to witness how security agencies that often compete with one another work together toward a common goal.
We would also like to express our special gratitude to all employees of the TopGuard security company: from drivers to top managers, from security officers to VIP protection teams, duty units, rapid response groups, and technical and operational support departments — everyone whose efforts ensured that EURO 2012 in Ukraine was conducted safely and comfortably.
